A New Season of Quilting with Counted Quilts
Hello Quilty Friends,
A new year is here, and I’m so glad you’re quilting along with me! Whether you’re starting a fresh project or finishing up something special, I hope your sewing room has been full of color, creativity, and joy.
Here’s what’s new at Counted Quilts this quarter:
🧵 New & Recent Patterns
I’ve added new quilt patterns designed to be bright, fun, and simple—perfect for confident beginners and seasoned quilters alike.
Fawn, Light House Night and Day, and American Eagle.
💙 Color Inspiration
You’ll notice I keep coming back to bright, happy colors (especially blues!). The newly redone American Eagle was created with Riley Blake Designs, American Honor, fabric line which comes out this month. And can be pre-ordered on their website.
✂️ Helpful Tips & Support
If you ever get stuck or have a question while making one of my patterns, I’m always happy to help. Quilting should feel enjoyable, not frustrating—and a little guidance can go a long way. The videos on my YouTube channel, @CountedQuilts, might prove helpful for those just starting out.

A Counted Quilts twist on an old classic Sunbonnet Sue. The pattern is for a single Sue, but it would be easy to put multiple together for a twin or full size bed.
I have a few different cat patterns, was a Cheetah was suggested a while back at a show. I finally gave it a try. It took a few tries to get it right, but I am really please with the result. This one was made in rich batiks, but I would love to try it again in softer colors for a baby's jungle room.
Rooster Quilt Pattern in 3 sizes: 36x42, with additional 24x28 and 48x56 After a very successful March Quilt show a Rooster was my most requested new pattern suggestion. So for your enjoyment, Rooster!
December pattern - Nativity. A great pattern to celebrate the Holiday season. Merry Christmas! Comes in 3 sizes 36x42, 28x24 and 48x56
Prince Quilt Pattern. This little prince was made to match the princess pattern I already have. A wonderful Lady I meet at the November quilt show said she was awaiting the arrival of twin grandbabies and would love to make them a Prince and Princess set.
