Pattern Corrections
I do my best to check the patterns, but mistakes still happen occasionally. Below is a list of pattern corrections and the date of changes.
Barrell Racing found 6/27/26 - on the twin size 3 1/2 inch piece cutting chart Gray H and B show an incorrect number of pieces to cut. It should be 2 H's and 1 B.
Axolotl found 6/27/26 - Cover says tail color is pale purple, while the pattern instructions list the tail color as white. Pattern has been corrected to match the cover making the tail color pale purple.
Golfer - before 10/27/24 Missing 1 Green E piece from pink cutting chart on page 2. And missing the A column with new size 2 1/2 from the larger 48x56 chart top on page 6.
Gecko - before 8/23/24 the purple N on the bottom of column 2 has an unlabeled Green Triangle. It should be labeled B, it is not an A.
Otters - before 8/4/24 there is a "t" in the space for a brown V. This is a typo that space should be blank. The only brown piece on this chart is a single S piece.
Cowboy – White A says 10 needs 11 pieces.
Kangaroo – If Cover reads Light Gold (ears, tummy) and Dark Tan (tail, trunk) change to Gold (ears, tummy) and Brown (tail, trunk) to match the charts on the inside.
Koala - Before 3/29/2018 The 36x42 size needs one more Gray 3 1/2" strip making 5 instead of 4, The Large 48x56 size needs one more Gray 4 1/2" strip making 6 instead of 5 resulting in 1 yd of fabric, and one more 4 1/2" strip of Brown making 3 instead of 2 resulting in 5/8 yd of fabric.
Elephant - before 1/26/17 The first page reads 3 ½” strips – Take the 5” strips this is a typo it should read 3 ½” strips – Take the 3 ½” strips…
Lion - before 10/26/15 The P column says 1 beige and 2 blue. It should only be 1 blue and nothing else.
Dolphin - before 8/17/15 above step 2 charts, it reads 2" strips - take the 5" strips, and 3 1/2" strips - take the 5" strips. It should read 2" strips - Take the 2" strips..., and 3 1/2" strips - take the 3 1/2" strips...
Fire Truck – Before 4/8/2014 The P2 piece on the small 24x28 size is missing from the chart. The P2 piece should be 18 ½ inches long for the 24x28 wall hanging.
Newer Brianna Butterfly - with smaller 22x22 size before 5/4/2013 The "F" piece measurement on the 1 1/4" strip chart reads 4 1/2 and should read 4 1/4.
Tree Frog – 2/4/2013 on the last Page 5of 5 Larger 48”x56” size the yardage on the first chart is incorrect. It should read: Sky blue 1 1/4 , Green 7/8, Brown 3/8, Orange 3/8, White 3/8, Blue 1/3, Dark Green ¼, Red ¼ , Light Orange 1/8, Black ¼
4/5/2013 On page 1 of 5, under Step 2, the yellow chart for the 3 ½ inch strips is missing a row for Red(eyes). That row should contain 2 K’s.
7/6/2026 - In my adjusting the above error the colors column on the left is now incorrect. The 3 1/2 inch yellow chart on page 1 should read from top to bottom: Sky Blue, Green, Orange, White, Blue, Dark Green, Red, Black. Numbers remain the same, except for Black has only 1 K. If yours does not match this please email lisa@countedquilts.com for an update digital pattern.
Octopus – 3/4/2013 Cover the yardage for Orange (body) reads 1 for 48”x56” size it should read 1 ¼.
8/16/2013 Map typo, The bottom right corner has a a large Tan O, two columns to the left of that piece there is an orange E, that piece should be labeled F.
5/9/16 on the yellow chart the last color is Tan not Yellow
Penguin – 3/25/2013 Last page Large 48”x56” size, “F” piece measurement says 8.6 should say 8 ½
Tractor – patterns printed between 8.9.2012 and 1.3.14 on page 1 the yellow 3 ½ inch strips table the last two colors read Dark Brown and Tan, but should read Tan and Gray
Stegosaurus - If you purchased the stegosaurus pattern between September 2012 and September 2013 you may be missing the P2, P3, and P4 measurements from the middle yellow tables.
Wall Hanging P4 = 20 1/2, P3 = 13 1/2, P2 = 9 1/2
Crib Size P4 = 30 1/2, P3 = 20, P2 = 14
Lap Size P4 = 40 1/2, P3 = 26 1/2, P2 = 18 1/2
Trex – before 11/2012 P3 and P2 measurements are mislabeled. P3 should be above the longest length, and P2 above the shorter.
Whale – 12/27/2012 On the Cover the yardage for Blue (water) reads 2/3 for 36”x42” and 1 1/3 for 48”x56” it should read 7/8 for 36”x42” and 1 3/8 for 48”x56”.
7/13/2014 If P’s on map are missing their subscript, the longest P is on the left as part of the tail and should be labeled P3. The 2 P’s in the middle remain just P. The last P on the right between the T’s is a P2
