Dinosaurs Twin Size Quilt Pattern - 65x84 - PDF

This a new Dinosaurs twin size quilt pattern is made with 6 individual Dinosaurs; Triceratops, Brontosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Stegosaurus, Pterodactyl, and Tyrannosaurus rex each 24x28 inches with a simple sashing to make a twin size quilt. The perfect quilt for any little boy who like mine can name all the different kinds of dinosaurs. These are a few of his favorites.

This pattern is for advanced beginners. You should have some sewing experience. If you can use a rotary cutter, and sew a straight 1/4 inch seam you can put this quilt together.

The process looks something like this:

The shaping of the dinosaurs is done with 2 to 3 sizes of half square triangles. They are cut as squares in the step 2, then marked with a sew line corner to corner to be placed on top of a larger piece or square of the same size. Then sewn, trimmed, and flipped. The individual dinosaurs are 24x28 so you could use each one as the center for a Baby Quilt pattern, or a combination of any two for a fun lap quilt or Toddler bed.
