This bright Fire Engine in front of the fire house is for all those little guys who want to grow up to be firemen. The white space above the cab is a great place for personalizing with babies name or a fire house number.

The pattern has 3 sizes: the main instructions is for a Crib 36"x42", with additional pages for 24x28 and 48x56
This truck can be made in the smallest size as room decor, up to a the largest lap size bordered for a twin bed. The small size could be a great thank you for local first responder's wall. You can also combine the small size with my other rescue vehicles (police, ambulance, helicopter, doctor) for a larger thank you. Another option is to make it in a lap size for them. Add some fun firetruck fabric as a border for the traditional 50x60 throw.
Skill Level: Beginner
The pattern lists fabric yardage, then charts for how many strips to cut, and then how many pieces. Once the pieces are cut you follow a full page labeled picture, sewing straight 1/4 inch seams. The shaping is done with quick corner triangles, or the "snowball method". Lay a square on top and sew corner to corner, then trim and flip. Then you will follow a full page color image of the fire engine alphabetically labeled as you assemble the top row by row.
