Boy Graduate Quilt Pattern. Congratulations Graduates!

The Girl Graduate pattern was originally created as a custom pattern for a graduation present. Then I made the matching mirror image Boy Graduate. It turned out so cute I had to share it with all of you looking for a fun graduation present. It is a quick and easy project you can make in a weekend.
It comes with 3 sizes: 36x42, and additional measurements for 24x28 and 48x56
The small size can easily be adapted for a pillowcase for older graduates if you remove the top and bottom row. The large size is a great toddler bed for those preschool graduates.
This is a great pattern for beginning quilters, instructions include: fabric yardage, cutting instructions, triangle tips, sewing instructions, and basic finishing instruction.

The pattern lists fabric yardage, then uses charts to show the number of strips to cut for each color, and the number of pieces to cut from those strips. The shaping is done with quick corner half square triangles. Once those are marked you will follow a full-page color image of the quilt top alphabetically labeled for easy pieced row by row assembly. All straight cutting, and all straight sewing perfect for a beginner, or as a weekend project for you pros.
