Sailboat Baby Quilt Pattern

The pattern comes with instructions for 3 sizes: Crib 36"x42, with additional 24"x28" and 48"x56" . With the multiple sizes mean this quit is not just for baby.

Skill Level: Beginner
The pattern uses charts telling you how many strips to cut for each color. Then another set of charts giving the length of the pieces. The shaping is done using quick corner triangles, or the "snowball method".
Once the pieces are cut you just follow a full page color picture "map" showing how the top goes together using your alphabetically labeled pieces.
If you can sew a true 1/4 inch seam you can put this quilt top together. All Straight Cutting, and all Straight Seams!

This bright and friendly Sailboat was designed and made for a nephew. Though originally I designed the sail to have a plan red and blue stripe. The Zig-zags were just too fun to pass up and very popular at the time.
