This is an old fashion sewing machine that my mother designed. I patterned it and she sewed and quilted this one. You can have a lot of fun with colors on this one. A woman at a quilt show told me she made the small wall size and put there guild name on it. Sewing Machine Wall art is the perfect use for this pattern. My other favorite us is a lap quilt for a long time quilter.

You can make this for your wall, your lap. Or use it as a center block for a full size quilt for a bed.
Skill Level: Advance Beginner
The pattern lists fabric yardage, then uses tables to show the number of strips to cut and the number of pieces to cut from those strips. The entire top is then sewn using straight 1/4" seams. The shaping is done with quick corner triangles. Then follow a full page color image of the sewing machine alphabetically labeled, as you assemble the top row by row.
