This T-Rex Dinosaur Quilt Pattern is perfect of a baby boy . In fact it was designed for my little sister's baby boy. She wanted T-rex, "but make sure it's a happy t-rex" for his grandma made baby quilt. You can't tell me that toothy smile doesn't make you smile. So if you to are looking for a bright and fun dinosaur quilt for your baby or big boy this is the one for you.

The pattern comes in 3 sizes: main instruction is for the Crib 36x42, with additional small 24x28 and large 48x56.
The great thing about the 3 sizes is you can make one for baby and one for big brother. The large size works well for toddler beds , or as a lap quilt. Or border the large size to put it on a twin bed. You can also make the smallest size combined with one or more of my other dinosaurs for a big dino bed spread.
I recently used only the top portion to make a T-rex pillowcase, now it own pattern

*Skill Level: Beginner

The pattern lists fabric yardage, then charts for how many strips to cut, and then how many pieces. Once the pieces are cut you follow a full page labeled picture, sewing straight 1/4 inch seams. The shaping is done with quick corner triangles, or the "snowball method". Lay a square on top and sew corner to corner, then trim and flip. Then follow a full page labeled image of the Trex as you assemble the quilt row by row.
